Meet

Melinda Noack

Communications Manager

Melinda (she/they) joined Sinai Memorial 2026 as Communications Manager. She has over 14 years of experience in nonprofit and mission-driven communications within the worlds of affordable housing, social services, racial justice, publishing, civil engineering, and more. They have a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a minor in Slavic Language, Literature, and Culture from UC Berkeley. Originally from Southern California, Melinda has proudly called the East Bay her home since 2009.

Community Education

Your donation supports the growth and learning of the Bay Area’s diverse Jewish community. We provide free community education, programs, and events centered around Jewish end-of-life rituals and practices, such as the annual Day of Learning.

Mourner Care

Grieving the loss of a loved one is never easy. Your donation directly supports our Mourner Care program, designed to support those who have experienced a loss through every step of the healing process with one-on-one counseling and support.
