Serving with Compassion
Supporting Healing
Honoring Memory
At Sinai Memorial, we believe that the Jewish practices and rituals surrounding death add uniquely powerful meaning and points of connection. That’s why, every day, we offer the flexibility needed to serve all the Jewish people of the Bay Area, at all levels of income. Doing this honors the memory of those who have died and helps us to grieve and heal, together.
We facilitate alternatives to burial, such as cremation and human composting, to meet the needs of our diverse community.
As a 501(3)c nonprofit, your donation (Tzedakah) to Sinai Memorial ensures that the Bay Area’s Jewish community has access to end-of-life services, education, and healing rooted in Jewish tradition and values for generations to come.
Your donation supports the growth and learning of the Bay Area’s diverse Jewish community.
We provide free community education, programs, and events centered around Jewish end-of-life rituals and practices, such as the annual Day of Learning.
