Under Friedl’s Wing is an original theatrical and musical performance inspired by the life of Friedl Dicker-Brandeis, the artist and educator who secretly taught art to children in the Terezín Ghetto during World War II.
Through music, storytelling, and audience participation, the performance explores how creativity can sustain the human spirit, preserve memory, and inspire compassion.
Featuring Diana Naparst – vocalist and Brad Friedman – accordion.

Join others mourning the death of a loved one in a unique and supportive weekend retreat. Inspired by the 25+ years of the Bay Area Jewish Healing Center’s program of the same name, Grief and Growing™ offers opportunities for participants of all ages, infants through elders, to come together in community to experience the healing power of community and the power of gathering at Camp Newman.
